Coating Services

Ahno provides PVD and PECVD-DLC physical vapor deposition coating solutions, widely applied in cutting tools, molds, and precision components, fully matching customers' demands for high wear resistance, high lubricity, and high precision.

PVD / PECVD Coating Technology Principles

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating is a high-end technology in the surface treatment industry. In a vacuum environment, solid targets are evaporated and ionized via arc or magnetron sputtering and controllably combine with introduced reactive gases to form a 1-10μm super-hard film on the workpiece surface. The entire coating process is completed within a sealed vacuum chamber, making it an environmentally friendly process. PVD process temperatures are typically controlled within 500°C, offering strong substrate compatibility and enabling film formation on the surface of most materials.

PECVD-DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating uses hydrocarbon gases such as acetylene as precursor sources. In a vacuum chamber, plasma is excited to dissociate and generate carbon-containing active ions and radicals. These active particles undergo chemical reactions on the substrate surface, depositing an amorphous hydrogenated diamond-like carbon coating (a-C:H) that contains both sp³ diamond bonds and sp² graphite bonds. This is a low-temperature coating process, with deposition temperatures generally below 200°C, making it suitable for substrates with limited heat resistance. The coating offers a low friction coefficient and excellent surface finish, making it a preferred surface treatment solution for friction pairs in components.

Ahno PVD/PECVD Coating Technology Advantages

Ahno PVD coatings feature an optimized and upgraded magnetic field structure, enabling precise control of arc movement even under high-current conditions, significantly suppressing droplet defects. Coating quality reaches international standards.

Ahno PECVD-DLC offers internationally leading coating technology for components, featuring high processing efficiency, excellent film quality, and strong stability in large-scale production.

Ahno coating has multiple core performance advantages
